PNEUMATIC SEED DRILL FOR VEGETABLES SNA-2-260 MODEL
SND-2-280 model air seeder is suitable for all types of vegetables. The machines double line sowing features two coupled seeding units, adjustable from 70 to 120 mm. This versatile multipurpose machine can be equipped with as many seeding elements as needed to meet the specific requirements of the farmer and according to the different type of seeds including Onions, Carrots and Parsnips. Easy movement of the elements along the tool bar obtains the various distances between the rows. The SND model is fitted with a disc coulter in front of the seed boot.
Sowing Element
SND-2-280 air seeder sowing element for double line sowing. Featuring equalizer supported by two wheels (rubber or stainless steel). Rubber or stainless steel seed press wheel also available.
Seeding Disc
Inside the seeding unit the disc turns in the opposite direction of travel. This direction of rotation minimizes bounce of the seeds leading to much more accurate placement.
Drive Transmission
A Norton gear system provides simple and fast gear change to vary seed spacing. A 10+10 gearbox is standard.
Sowing Unit
All sowing units are equipped with top and bottom singulators ensuring accurate singulation and with four sprockets for the rotation of the disc.
Aspiration
Agricola Italiana air seed drills have separate aspiration and compression system. A separate compressor keeps the seed holes in the disc clear, rather than relying of the exhaust of the suction fan. Ensuring that only dry and clean air, at the correct pressure, is used. This is particularly important with small seeds if they are dressed or dusty.
